Welcome from the Conference President

50th Conference of the German Society for Psychology

Immo Fritsche

It’s a big thing. In 2016 the German Psychological Society (DGPs) is celebrating its 50th Anniversary Congress. The Society returns to Leipzig as the place where in 1879 Wilhelm Wundt founded the first institute of psychology worldwide and where psychological science has experienced an unprecedented boom in the last 20 years (University Institute as well as two Max-Planck Institutes). We expect 2,200 paper submission from all areas of psychological science. For the first time, the flagship congress of psychology in the German-speaking countries will have both German and English as congress languages.
